Our Technology
Our system is the most interactive, user friendly and secure system on the market today.
Each authorized person using this system can be assured of safe and secure transfer of information.
Since an authorized person can access the site via an Internet browser with a user ID and strong Password, access can be attained from anywhere.
This gives the user tremendous flexibility in keeping track of everything that is going on within the system at any time.
All information passing through this system complies with FCRA requirements.
How To Use The System
There are four easy steps to inputting a background:
- Enter the required information in the “Applicant Information” section (Name, SSN, and Date of Birth).
- Select the searches you want performed.
- Select the location you want searched - for those that require a location (State or County for Criminal Record Search, etc.). If you don't know the county - but know the city or zip code - our location finder will automatically input the correct county for you.
- Transmit request:
Any new requests that are transmitted will automatically have the status changed from “Draft” to “In Progress”.
Once a request is completed, you will find it in your “Completed” section for viewing or printing.
Once you view or print the report, you may transfer it into an archive file for later review.
System Features
The Accutrace system has many great features that can be utilized on a daily basis.
Here are just a few:
- The Accutrace system’s diversity allows us to customize your menu of services to fit your needs.
If you only want to have access to certain services, that is all you will see on your menu.
We can even include certain regularly used services to be combined into a package, so there is only one click required to activate
more than one service.
- If certain users are only authorized to input requests - but not see results - we can do it.
- If there are several locations or regions that are inputting requests, yet billing needs to go to one place, we can do it.
The detailed billing can even show what each location has done for bill-back
and budget management purposes.
- There is an “Alias” section when choosing a location for a search.
If you want a search under an alias or maiden name as well as the name first entered, just enter it in the Alias box and a second
search will be added with the Alias name. You will not need to reenter the applicant information a second time.
- Each user's name is stamped onto each request for identification purposes.
The time and date will also be stamped for turnaround time tracking.
- A “Status Note” section allows the client to stay “In the Loop” of the search.
If there is any information during the processing of the search that the client needs to know about (delays, required information needed, etc.),
that section is where they will find it. The “Status Note” section is located on the main menu for easy viewing.
It will also indicate how many notes are waiting for you to view.
- The “Location Finder” is a valuable tool that cross-references every city and zip code in the country with the corresponding county. This feature comes in handy and saves valuable time when you don't know the county.
- “Flagged Searches” are searches that require viewing as a priority. All “Criminal Hits” will be flagged as well as others.
- The “Quick Search” feature can pull up a request or report by inputting either the applicants’ last name or the last four digits of the social security number. This feature eliminates the process of scrolling through the list of requests or reports to locate a specific name.
