Compliance

Accutrace practices and maintains the highest standards.

Our goal is to attain the highest levels of ethics, performance, security and adherence to law across the company. Compliance for Accutrace includes best practices, service and results. Compliance affects how we gather, manage, maintain, share and secure the business intelligence required by our clients. Accutrace’s Quality Assurance program assures the company conforms to local, state, federal and international statutes. It monitors company and customer exchanges. It initiates and implements policy, oversees training and interacts with regulatory agencies.

Another major part of our compliance is the training of our staff as well as our clients. We do monthly compliance meetings stressing the importance of all privacy laws to our employees as well as updating on any new regulatory changes.

The second part of our training is to assist our clients maintaining compliance with their local laws as well as the FCRA regulations. We provide them with all necessary forms such as release, disclosure, adverse action, etc. to ensure strict FCRA compliance. They are required to sign our contract, which binds them to follow all FCRA and state laws. Our clients are subject to random audits to ensure compliance.

In the spirit of providing every applicant an opportunity to dispute a report they feel is inaccurate, we have designated a FCRA compliance officer who oversees regulatory compliance as well as handling all disputed reports.

At Accutrace, we've designed a total quality assurance team to help ensure that each search is accurate and complete. The programs include double checking “Hits” on criminal records prior to sending them back to the client and internal auditing of field agents - randomly requesting known records. We then compare results to make sure the information matches.

The act helps prevent identity theft and improves the resolution of consumer disputes, accuracy of consumer records, and use of and access to credit information.
